This slick looking 69 Chevelle has been freshly restored. It has a period correct L-78 396-375 hp motor. It was also given some nice upgrades including new Vintage Air, big wheels, 4 wheel disc and more.
EXTERIOR: It is certainly a sexy car! The body is very straight and the panels fit exceptionally well. It is smooth all along the bottom. There's no rust or damage, no problem areas. The paint is slick, it has a deep reflection like you can reach right into it. There are minor imperfections if you go looking for them. All of the exterior chrome and trim have been replaced. The bumpers, grill, lenses, emblems, mirrors, handles look new. New front and rear windows. Window seals and weatherstrips were replaced. It's riding on a staggered set of chrome Ridler wheels- 18s in front, 20s in back. They are wrapped in performance tires.
INTERIOR: Inside the car has been redone from carpet to headliner. Down on the floor is new carpet, a new center console with the staple shifter. It also has set of reproduction GM seat belts. There's new cushions in the seats, they have been reupholstered and given new trim and headrests. New door panels, window cranks and armrests. Up above is a new headliner, visors, mirror and a working dome light. In front of me is a new dash pad, custom set of gauges, new instrument panel, vents and a custom wheel. It has an updated Vintage Air climate control panel. There is a modern Kenwood stereo with 6x9 speakers in the back.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a correct 1969 396-375 hp L-78 motor. The casting code and date is proper and it has high perf cast on the block. The stamp on the front is JD which indicates 396-375 hp. It has the square port heads. On top is an Edelbrock intake, dual feed Holley carb and electronic ignition system. It also has a set of coated headers. Beautiful looking motor compartment is dressed up with gloss paint and lots of chrome. New chrome valve covers and air cleaner with the right stickers. The front of the motor has a billet timing cover, polished water pump, chrome pulleys, chrome alternator and bracket, chrome power steering. The air conditioning pump is polished. New big polished aluminum radiator, new shroud, clutch fan and hoses. New wiper motor, squirters are hooked up. New cadmium plated power brake booster. The radiator cover is chrome, there is a filler panel in front. It has a Delco battery topper with spring clamp cables.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Solid trunk compartment has gray and white spatter finish with a carpeted mat. The weatherstrip was replaced.
UNDERSIDE: The front end is completely rebuilt- the ball joints, bushings, springs and shocks. It was upgraded with fat tubular control arms and custom sway bar. The steering components were replaced. The rear suspension was rebuilt and upgraded with coilover adjustable gas shocks. It has boxed control arms, a sway bar, new springs. The brake system has all been replaced and upgraded with slotted and drilled discs at all four wheels. It has braided stainless hoses, e-brake assembly looks new. Custom Pypes exhaust has polished stainless steel with an x-pipe and cowbell tips. In back it has a polished stainless fuel tank with new straps, sending unit and fuel lines. Looking up at the motor it has an extra capacity oil pan, high torque starter and a chrome flywheel cover. The Turbo 400 automatic also has an extra capacity chrome pan. It looks fresh, new speedo cable and trans mount. In back is a 12-bolt rear end with a finned cover. The underbody appears to be very solid. The floors, inner rockers and lower quarters all look to be in real good shape. They've been cleaned and sprayed with chip guard paint. We just had a front end inspection and alignment.
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.

    About Volo Auto Museum
No other collector car dealer has been in business longer than the Volo Auto Museum.  Owned and operated by the Grams family since 1960.  We are the only collector car dealer that has 4 generations of experience with buying, selling and consigning classic autos.  For our family, classic cars are more than a business, it is a passion.  Over the decades, we have maintained a reputation for dealing with integrity as proven with our high reviews and A+ rating with the BBB.
Buying a classic car can be exciting, but also stressful.  We want to take the stress out of your buying experience by allowing you the time and tools you need to get to know the car you are interested in before making your investment, not after.  Unlike auctions, we allow test drives, 3rd party inspections, the use of our shop and car lift.  No reasonable request will be turned down.
Selling a car can be equally stressful, but it doesn’t have to be.  After reviewing your quality collector car, we will discuss the options we have available to you and let you decide what works best for you.  We have cash available for immediate sales and we also offer a consignment program that surpasses anyone else’s.   Unlike percentage based programs with fees; we work with a no fee, net to owner.  This allows us the opportunity to treat and market your car as if it were our own.  We invest approximately 00 of our own money into marketing your car, which means if it doesn’t sell, we lose, not you.  So, we are more aggressive in selling your car!
